NEW Writers’ Group Inc Anthology 2010:
Over the summer weeks, why not write a scene, a poem, a memoir, a story on one of our two Anthology 2010 themes?
Themes: NIGHT/DAY TIME/PLACE
Editor: Carol amos
Open for entries 31st January – 31st March
Remember, space in the anthology is limited – we want works that will fit into two A5 zine pages (equivalent to one A4 page) in a normal font size eg Arial 12 with 2cm margins and room for the title and your name. And room for an illustration if you have one…
Who’s eligible to enter? NWG Inc financial members only.
(NB In 2009 we offered entry to non financial members for a $5 admin fee. There were so few gatherers wanting to submit work who were not members, we have decided to make it members only for 2010.)

Dear NWG Inc members and gatherers
The 2009 anthology is now open. Carol Amos is senior editor with some occasional help from Sue Crawford. When it comes to binding the anthologies, it will be all hands on deck!
But for now, please send us your entries of prose, poetry, drama and cartoons – all topics, styles and genres welcome. Your work needs to fit into no more that 2 A5 pages. Please read the Information Sheet see link below, for details before submitting work. All work must be submitted with completed Entry Form (see below). Entries due by 31 August, 09.
NB HAIKU: If you have written Haiku for the Riverbeats project, you can have some additional space on our Haiku pages. We aim to include at least one Haiku from every Haiku contributor in either the Riverbeats project or the Anthology (or both). You do not have to be a NWG Inc member/gatherer to have one or more of your Haiku in our anthology. Haiku writers will be emailed a separate entry/permission form
ILLUSTRATIONS: These are very welcome. We cannot guarantee to find room for them all, but we love to include a few to enhance the pages. Please note they need to be original works. If someone else has illustrated your work that’s fine, but they will need to fill in an entry form for copyright reasons.
