Rowena Brown
NEW Writers’ Group inc member Rowena Brown passed away on 13th February after a long struggle with cancer.
Rowena will be very much missed from among our gatherings. Her stories were always full of hope and promise, even when they dealt with difficult subjects.
A woman of great sensitivity and good humour, she always brought the sunshine with her.
Her funeral service will be attended by a committee member:
2pm on Wed 17th at West Pennant Hills Community Church, 41 Eaton Rd. West Pennant Hills.

The service for Rowena was overflowing with friends and family. Everyone remembered Rowena as a positive person in their lives. Part of the service included photos and for newer friends like myself it was wonderful to see images of Rowena as a pretty young bride with her handsome(late) husband Chris. There was much sadness of course, but a confidence in Rowena’s faith in God that saw her through all her difficulties.
