ZineWest

ZineWest 2019 Entries due 27th April. WritingEntryForm_ZW19

This is our thirteenth year. We love to see a wide variety of works. Our editors and our judge (Dr. Luke Carman) are open to your ideas and style. Anything word-based that we can reproduce in an A5 zine. Editors select a publication list of around thirty entries and these works are forwarded to the judge. Please note eligibility, size limits and house style before filling in the form and sending us  up to three of your best short pieces! Entry is free. If your work does not reach the print zine list it doesn’t mean we didn’t appreciate it. You may be offered a second opportunity to share your writing and compete for a prize at ZW WORD, which follows the zine launch on Saturday, 12th October, 2019.

  6. WestWords would like to contact Sue Crawford and Carol Amos to join us for a literary industry sector seminar. Would you kindly supply emails so we can send invitations?

  7. Hi,
I enjoyed the free copy I received and thought the quality of the stories were high. It was a very well presented publication.
The only thing was, because I could not attend your presentation due to family issues, I never found out who the prize winners were. Those details never appeared on your website. Good luck to them, whoever they were.

PS: One of my stories was recently shortlisted in a major literary competition, and I have had another story published by a respected literary publisher. So things have been travelling well since you published my short piece.
