About

NEW Writers’ Group Incorporated (NWG Inc) is a not for profit, incorporated association, run by volunteers. All our income (fees, publication sales, grants and donations) is spent on our programs for writers. We publish writing and images in the annual print anthology ZineWest (competition for new Western Sydney writers and local artists) and online in our Pop Up Zines and digital anthology Expression. At our monthly events we offer workshops, writing projects and open mic.
Age of participants: At all our events participants need to be sixteen or older. Younger children attending must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

NEW Writers’ Group Incorporated acknowledges the Darug people, the traditional custodians of the land of Parramatta where we meet, and where our online activity is generated. We pay respect to the elders past and present of the Darug nation and extend that respect to other Aboriginal people visiting places where we gather.
