Belinda Curby – Poem

A SECOND CHANCE

If I had a second chance,
I could start again
I know I’d smile
I’d live again.

I’d dance in the stars
send the comedy down
I would laugh so hard
and would never frown

I would smile in the light
never let the sun go down
take my dark glasses off
and let you see my eyes.

I would smile in the darkness
only happy tears cried
my soul would live again
I never again want to die.
